JESUS -THE HEALER: He Heals Many

 

Jesus' power over illness offers HOPE to all people. Put your life in JESUS' HANDS and let Him do MIRACLES.  

             9. JESUS HEALS SIMON'S MOTHER IN LAW AND MANY OTHERS
                                           Read Mark 1: 23&24; Luke 4:38-44

"Jesus left the synagogue and went to Simon's mother in law's home. She was sick with a high fever and they asked Jesus to help her. He came to her and commanded the fever to leave her. She immediately got up and began serving Him."                                                                                                                    Luke 4:38&39 (NLT)

Simon's mother in law seemed to be a beautiful, hopitable woman of God. As soon as Jesus healed her, the first thing she thought of was SERVING HIM probably with a meal. Although I never knew her, people always told me that both my mothers were always great CARING and LOVING women. My younger sister was very much like her, and so too was my older sister. I am sure they are enjoying their time in Heaven with Jesus.

"Jesus went every in Galilee, healing all people of all diseases....they wer suffering from different kinds of diseases.....JESUS HEALED THEM ALL....At sunset, the people brought to Jesus all who had various kinds of sickness, and laying his hands on each one, HE HEALED THEM." Mark 1:23&24, Luke 4:40 (NCV/NIV)

There were many diseases that were healed by Jesus, including demon possession. He had no "magical powers", but when the demons came out of the people they shouted:

"You are the Son of God".  He knew He was the "Messiah."
